Watchful white-winged dove

As long as I kept a reasonable distance, this white-winged dove in my backyard didn't mind me snapping a few shots.

This blog is about images that I find in my wanderings around Southeast Texas (Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Silsbee ....) and beyond --- I occasionally get to Houston, Dallas and Austin areas and try to capture compelling photos along the way.

Nature shots are my favorite. I capture many that Texas birding fans will like. You'll also find other wildlife such as squirrels, nutria and more. Also mixed in a landscapes, flowers, natures scenes and more.

Every day, Southeast Texas surrounds me with photo ops. I try to capture a few and pass them on.
